Photographer’s Note

I could try to explain what it's like in Battambang, or write a short essay on it's history.

Sometimes though, you take a picture and it's not your best. Not even close to great from a technical standpoint. Not artistically unique. Yet it means more to you than almost any other you have. Because what you captured kept pace with the memory of what happened just before or what happened just after. Maybe your perspective seemed a little different afterwards.

This one was that moment. So I'm uploading the photo to be seen at face value.
