great shot of this boy with the most amazing expression on his face..!!! beautiful choice of b/w for this shot...this is one shot i cant think about being in colour..!!

Bonjour Tom: ce qui eleve cette image au dessus des milliers de cliches d'enfants sur TE c'est ta brillante perspective avec tote l'architecture du pont comme support. Belle demonstration des capacites du 17-55 aussi.

Hi Tom,

Great perspective! Nice picture to start my day with. Good choice in Depth of Focus. Works really well!! And the 17-55 works well as well off course. Limited vignetting at the low end compared to my own 18-200. Nice shot!

I wandered around Battambang, but never found this little guy hanging out under the bridge! ;)

Nice, and actually unusual portrait, with him bending backwards to the camera. What a warming human contrast to the hard edge of steel beams and bolts.

Qu'est-ce que tu faisais en haut de la Tour Eiffel?
J'aime le graphisme général de la scène, ça se mêle bien avec le point de vue assez extrême du portrait.

Par contre j'ai l'impression que ton AF a accroché un point au dessus de sa tête (c'est le rivet de droite qui est la partie la plus nette de la scène) et le PP est peut être un peu clair sur la visage, le rendant un peu trop mou par rapport au reste.

f/2.8 m'aurait pas déplu non plus ;) ...

the POV sets this apart from just another cute kid, Tom. The structure of the bridge provides a more graphical image with by the way a little boy in the frame as well.

Fun shot thanks to the cheeky smile on the boys' face, the twisted position of his body and the distorsion. The b&w really help him stand out.

SUPERB shot, Tom. One of my favs. The pov, the boy's lovely face just do it to me. Where were you, with your camera??! Not hanging on the bridge like he was?! But if so, all the more pearls to you, dear Tom. It was worth it!

Ce portrait est superbe. Cet enfant pose naturellement avec un grand sourire alors que n'importe qui paniquerai en le voyant. Bravo pour cet image avec un traitement en N&B réussi.

Dommage que le focus est parti du cote du boulon en haut a droite, sinon je ne peux juger de l' exposition et la qualite du N&B car mon ecran a besoin d' etre recalibre. Tu me la remontres samedi prochain at home.....

Tom -An amazing angle! Very luck to shoot him like that.
It looks like he's way on top of the bridge, looking down to the river below. Nice clarity and desaturations.

Toujours une lecon de voir tes portraits.
Ici encore c'est superbe... j'adore comme tu as cadré ce visage en utilisant cette architecture en plongée.
Le visage ressort incroyablement bien et son attitude est super chou....et drôle.
Bref, rien de très intelligent à dire....mais j'aime :)
