[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
When I saw this one after almost two years from the date I had taken it, I thought that I was lucky to be on my own during the trip, and not with a group.
There would be absolutely no possibility to take such a picture without a long focal, a tripod, and after spending quite a time for my best possible angle, if I were travelling with 30 people on a tourist bus.
These giant statues were quite impressive as they were with their centuries old patina, I tried to compress them with my long lens from far away , and create something a bit unusual. They are found at the main gate of Angkor Thom.

Merhaba,
Such artwork, be it modern or ancient, is hard to photograph without making it look dull. The light conditions were not the greatest here but you managed a fine composition with the telephoto lens. Interesting how they all seem to be looking straight into the viewer's eyes. Regards,
Hakan

Very expressive shot. Your note inspires me for my future trips!
Cheers

Hello Izzet Bey,
Wonderfully composed, superbly shot. The sharpness on the statues and the blurred trees are just superb. The use of light, the amount of details is impressive. The notes, always concise and a pleasure to read.
I wish you an excellent Sunday.
Best personal regards. Salvator.

merhaba izzet bey
harika bir kompozisyon.heykellerin dizilişi ve kadraj içindeki yerleşimleri mükemmel.ayrıca son derece net ve keskin bir görünüme sahip elinize sağlık.
selamlar
Ali

Merhaba İzzet Bey,
Angkor Wat,belgesellerde gördüğüm ve favorim gazeteci-yazar Zeynep Oral ın harika anlatımlı Uzakdoğum kitabında Vietnam ve Kamboçya anılarını okuduktan sonra hep görmek istediğim yer,30 değil 100 kişilik kalabalıklada olsa razıyım, gözüm görse yeter.Bu heykeller tapınağa giden yolun iki tarafında sıralı olanlar galiba.Yüzleri aydınlatan ışığın kullanımı gözalıcı,başlıklar ve giysiler deki detaylar nefis, elinize sağlık.Benim TE.e rastlamadan önce yayınlanmış önceki muhteşem Kamboçya karelerinizi de şimdi izlemenin keyfini yaşadım,teşekkürler ederim.Selam ve saygılarımla.

classy shot! I can't believe it now they fixed all those missing head of this statue. I've been there almost every time I visit my home in Sisophon. I'm sure some of you might know already about this statue story.

Sopheak
