Hi Wanda, I see we are neighbours today. I like this presentation of the temple with the lines vanishing point being near the man and the shadows giving an opposing direction on the uneven floor. B&W worked well too. Cheers, Steve

Hi Wanda,
Very nice conversion and well centered image. There is god depth and details and the view is very interesting. The light and shadows on the floor create a beautiful pattern and add to the appeal of the image. Nice work Wanda.

Hoi Wanda,
Groetjes, Henk

Hi Wanda,
The play of light and shadows is what makes this image work for me. Textures are well-obtained.
The inclusion of the human element at the end of this superb vanishing point is really appreciated.

Maria

Hello Wanda
I like the perspective of your composition and i like too the rays of light very attractive with the B&W
consider it regrettable that the man at the bottom is not in the white part, but it s a detail :)

Hi Wanda,
oh I envy you for being there! Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm are realyl something I want to see, but I think one day I`ll see it myself, I`m absoluetly sure about this!
I love the B&W effect, it gives the picture such an unique atmosphere. The depth of field is perfect and the lght was also very nice. The person in teh distance is a great detail. Thanks for sharing Wanda, a great one!
Take care

Hi Wanda,
this is wonderful capture. Good choice to do this one in black and white. (Makes me think of a zebra :-))The stark light shining in and the shadows in contrast are excellent. I really like the man in the background too. It makes the photo more emotional.
Thanks for sharing!

Dag Wanda,
mooi in zwartwit. Al die schaduw of lichtstrepen vormen een grillig tapijt.

Fantastic, classic shot.
This is a familiar scene - the low sunlight creating the amazing shadow patterns inside the temple. The inclusion of the man is a nice bonus.
Thanks.

Hello Wanda
The patterns, on the floor, created by the column shadows are an eye catching! A nice perspective along the corridor and capture of the man in BG adding a sense of distance.
Cheers

I knew as soon as I opened this that you'd taken it on film - you just don't get that kind of tonality and level of detail in the shadow areas with digital.
I like the way you framed this, and I especially like the way the horizontal shadows break up the empty space of the corridor. That figure in the background is a good focal point - the shot wouldn't have worked so well without him.
Perhaps you could have done some burning in of the shadows on the floor - I think they could do with a bit more definition, especially in the foreground.
Good stuff Wanda.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Wanda,
Excellent perspective and also good conversion to maximize the effect of the horizontal pillar shadows... Super sharpness and texture of the stones

Hi Wanda,
again one of this good black&white captures living from strong contrasts and patterns. But also the textures are well done and with the depth and small background life a pleasure.

I simply cannot think this other than in B&W. The balustrades cast shadows across the corridor creating a strong alternate light & dark effect. Together with the perspective & depth, this picture is a beauty!

Hi Wanda,
Amazing "tunnel" photo. Here you made great use of light and shade which the synchronous columns and windows generate. And the figure is an essential figure for the completeness of this presentation.

Hello Wanda,
You capture a nice wave of shadow, shadow reflections, and light reflections. Well chosen POV and the black and white works well for an ancient temple I assume. I might show more of the columns to left to get more symmetry for this shot.
Well done,
Cheers
Hello Wanda,
the reapeating pattern on the ground. The blinding light coming from the side. The b/w tones. Unusual and unforgettable view from Angkor Wat! The amount of details on the rocks and in the shades is astonishing.
This is what travel pictures are about. You shoot landscapes, landmarks, people, details...We can live the trip through them.
interesting new profile pic;).
Thx!
Marc

Hi Wanda,
A lovely composition and indeed the shadow of the grilled windows has made this shot quite an interesting one.
