Photographer's Note
The Chongqing Grand Theater looks very photogenic at night!
I have added a full view in the workshop.
It is from outside this building that i took the panorama from the previous post.

Harry
The quality is superb, looks dreamy like, first rate perspective and exposure. I saw your other industrialised shots which reminded me off Nadav Kander's images from China. For the hell of retouching I might have cloned out the part right to the left to make it more free-standing, really great though this one.
Cheers

Hi Harry, great time of day (or rather night) to photograph this impressive building. Composition is good, with no extraneous elements and exposure spot on. BTW in answer to your question - in my misspent youth, I spent a several months travelling in the ME, including Yemen, which remains one of my favourit places. Cheers, Steve

Hi Harry,
Interesting architecture, Looks a bit cold and lifeless. Well, that is the impression I got from looking at this image, nothing is wrong with the quality of your shot. Perhaps, it is the good quality of your shot that capture the reality so well that I get that impression. Or it could just be the night shot and the florescent light that give that impression. The image has that modern abstract art quality to it.
Thanks.
Way

Olá Harry, striking architecture and night capture. The WS is equally good and deserves a post of its own. But your gallery is inspiring, you must have too many good photos to post, anyway...

A really nice take on the 'tank' - I still haven't been up close to it yet or inside - I hope they are getting audiences - the new bridge should help - have you seen the advertising projections they are displaying on it.
Can I share these galleries with you Harry out of interest in Chongqing.
