Photographer's Note

he train trip from Langzhou to Lhasa last 24 hours. When you wake up and the morning light shows the wide landscape you can see the plain at 4500 meters, the snowcapped distant mountains and thousands of Yaks.

Hello Gerrit,
I was there much too early, long before the railway was built. I had four days on uncomfortable buses from Xining in Qinghai to reach Lhasa. But the scenery was the same. Majestic and impressive and thousand of yaks, usually at some distance. Unfortunately I had few chances to take such good photos. I envy you for that.

Dus buitenlanders krijgen opnieuw de toelating om naar Tibet te reizen?

I like the fg cows grazing on the lush alpine grass and the bank of clouds around the bg mt peaks, as well as the reflected blue skylight in the stream or lake in the midground. Tfs!

Quel paysage proposé à travers cette composition. La plaine étendue, les montagnes qui s'amusent à saute-mouton, et les nuages qui roulent en formation de grosses volutes poussées par le vent.

Wanneer u deze foto nam vanop de trein is dit wel heel goed geslaagd.
De grote vlakte in de voorgrond met koeien.
Maar de bergen en de wolken aan de hemel are heel mooi gefotografeerd.
