The Wall to the north of Beijing at Badaling which is probably the most accessable place on the Wall to visit when you are staying in Beijing. These replica Warriors were placed in an area near to the entrance.

Very cool, Colin, I see what i missed by not going to Badaling. Nice composition.

Hello Colin,

The warrior looks fierce! Great image with balance perfect and the view of "The Wall" is one of the best I've seen. It is nice to see The Wall up close as it allows everyone to catch a glimpse at one of the wonders of our world...

Hello Colin, this is an interesting portrait with one of the most famous symbols of China as the subject and another as the background. But the warriors do look a little out of place, so far from Xian. Still, I like your composition.

Pretty symbolic. The impression is well thought out Colin. What is a wall without its sentinels, which you depicts is. Well composed and planned except for the sky which wasn't helpful photofriendly.

Hi Colin,
Magnificent shot of this amazing place. The composition is perfect and I love the strong contrast bettween this perfect focused close-up statue and the attractive blurred background. Really lovely!
Have a nice weekend,
Ricardo

Colin,
Thank for this view. My wife and I've been on the wall at Badalung Pass, but twenty-years ago when we were there, the warriors were not. They create a rather haunting atmosphere at the remarkable edifice. Warm regards from Virginia, and thanks for the note on the Pisa's landmark tower. Bulent
