J'aimais vraiment ce style gothique ancien.
J'appréciais cet aspect futuriste de Shanghai.

Mais ce que j'aimais le plus, c'était cette fusion de styles.

Je trouvais cela tout simplement fascinant !!!

Chouette vue qui met en valeur aussi bien l'ancienne que la nouvelle architecture...
Le nouveau bâtiment est, je suppose, inspiré par la fleur de lotus...
Les seules touches de couleurs sont les drapeaux rouges...un symbole.

Very well captured. You captured old and new Shanghai in one shot! Move a little to the right, probably you will get a better view with the buildings not overlaping.

j' ai penser la meme chose des villes Canadiennes,je trouve que ces gens ont trouver le moyen de melanger les styles sans que cela ne choque.Ici l' hurbanisme dit non,comme les autre,pas plus haut,pas plus penché,des cité qoi d'autre? Thomas

Bonjour Stéphane,
Surprenant ces différents styles d'architectures qui se côtoient. A première vue on se demande où l'on peut bien être, mais heureusement les drapeaux sont là pour nous le rappeler. Ce ciel rosé est aussi étonnant, mais pas dérangeant.

Hi Stephane - I agree it makes a fantastic contrast, and I like what you did with the colours, the dull industrial pollution has become artistic with the desaturation, I expect the new white building will be blackened just like the dome in a few years.

Bonjour Stephane, la première idée qui m’est venu à l’esprit lorsque je vis cette image, c’est celle d’un échiquier géant, ou le roi blanc est entrait d’avalé le fou noir, je sais c’est énorme mais bon, c’est vrai que ces bâtiments en imposent, bien amicalement

I like the effect you have used to partially de-saturate. It seems you used different sepia tones on different parts of the image?? Very good zoomed in view.

Stéphane, tu nous surprends toujours avec tes vues sur la Chine. L'opposition des deux styles fait un cliché insolite et curieux. Les drapeaux seuls, nous permettent de situer le pays où les deux bâtiments se côtoient.

Pas l'habitude de voir ces formes :-)) En tout cas la prise donne un coté massif à ces batiments et l'opposition entre la couronne et le dôme est amusante, les formes sont presque humaine comme si le roi se balladait avec la reine après naturellement avoir posé leurs couronnes sur la tête..

No wonder you liked this view..fascinating contrast of styles, which captured in zoom is very effective visually. I like how you have used desat & warm filter to ease off what I presume as the smoggy sky. Well seen & well captured!

En effet, fascinant le contraste, et fascinante l'ambition actuelle de la Chine (et la prétention de certains architectes là bas), la couleur du ciel est étonnante et agréable, et j'aime beaucoup cette photo qui a certainement de la force...
