A repost of an earlier photo because the quality was terrible. I think that this is a more effective frame also. I resized a bit and adjusted color and contrast; the other one was too "hyper-real" for my taste, so here's another go...
An alleyway in Guangzhou. The population density is quite high and I thought that this photo captured that fairly well. You can tell that a great deal of activity still occurrs in these dimly lit alleyways, however; I thought that the red Chinese characters and the signs contrasted nicely with the more monochromatic scenery in the background. Just a shot of daily life and something people see every day, seen through the eyes of a foreigner! |

Comparing to your original posting there is real quality improvement here. Much more small details can be seen in this photo.
