This is the picture from the famous RathaJatra of Jagannath Puri. The locals prefer to take their families for a 'darshan' in the night. As the deitis would still be on their chariots and the civic authorities provide ample lighting and security to the devotees. Secondly, there wont be any rush as the regulars and pilgrims might have rewinded by that time.

The smiley goes for being the only posting of the famous Rath Yatra from its place of origin, Puri.

I think it is from a low res GSM. Think it will be more presentable if you'll go for a heavy crop frrm the bottom. The figures there look pixeleted and saturated a bit more.

this is very real.i like ur ideas in photography.u r giving opportunity to the people those are nt able to see the great rathayatra.if lord jagannath inside rath was visible then it will be great.but its really nice

the photo is absolutely low quality.... but there's a nice dynamism and the subjet, the chariot of Lord Sri Jagannath is gorgeous...
