[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
This photograph was taken at a very small hotel by the side of the National Highway-2 at Asansol. The boy is mere 3 years old and suffering from fever for 3-4 days. His parents run the hotel and earn $100 a month. Its almost 10-45 am and his parents are quite busy for preparing lunch for the customer. The boy is sitting on the chair lonely and the benches are empty. The body temp. rises 101 deg F and the headache also. I can feel his suffering.
can u get the feeling from my shot?

Very good light, colors and sharpness. I love the expression of this little girl. A great capture. Well done. Sothy

This is really great. The blue, of course, but also the light, which is also centered on the subject.

there is such a unique charm in this photo...the kid is obviously a great model but what i find particiularly inspiring is that blue, lit chair, so much "strange" in this pastel or dark surroundings...
most amazing work about quietness, sadness, loneliness (fighting the fever in this place must have some loneliness-features)
best wishes, j.

C'est bien fait.Il se dégage une atmosphère voire un message de cette photo: le siège trop grand pour cette petite fille au regard triste...à chacun d'interprêter!

Hi Partha the feel is very bluesy and the light beautiful. The somber expression of the boy in combination of the stark and shadowy forms of the empty tables is very evocative to my eye. Beautiful and dramatic.
Have a fine day,
Bert

Partha,
Sure...You are on top of it...
Putting the boy in a corner of your frame & the lighting surely is...
Nice try...
Might have been bit closer..But that is subjective...
Cheers,
Prem.

Yes! I do
His expressions says all.....
The subject, the situation and the composition have a dramatic touch....
All my admiration for you as artist and human being, dear Partha

Dear Partha, you did capture a human and a social condition in a gripping picture. The emptyness of the uncropped surrounding emphasizes the lonely suffering of the child.
Thank you
Friedemann

Of course i can feel her suffering through her eyes!
It's a beautiful capture with lightning exactly where it must be.
Well done,
Pierre

Hi Partha,

I'm normally more into the children's pictures that get the best out of a kid. But in this case I see that it's a momentary situation for the kid that your portray for us and as such I can appreciate it. It's very well captured. I don't see it that much in her eyes, but more on her cheeks, her mouth and general posture. Good capture and I can feel the pain the little boy is in.

Greetings, Dennis

Hi Partha,

Wow, great lighting! The light coming in from the door or window is like a spotlight on the girl. The bright blue of the chair is very attention getting too, really drawing attention there and overwhelming the rest of the photo. Well done!

Bonjour,
Belle ambiance, le bleu fait bien ressortir du petit enfant.
Bonne journée.

Hi Partha,
A rather original shot, with the boy well highlighted and bathed in fine light. The vivid hue of the chair combines with his shirt nicely here, and yes, one can definitely see and empathize with his suffering. There is a real loneliness to the scene, well conveyed by your photo. First rate.

Hello Partha,
You can see this kind of view in my country.
It's either suffering and real.
Excellent cadrage, beautiful daylight and nice colours are all in this photograph.
Congratulations.
Best regards from Ankara and have a nice week.

Hi Partha,

The light here is amazing well managed and adds a lot to the mood of this picture. It was a shock to see that the boy is having fever for over 3 days and nothing seem to had been done to cure him... I hope his is fine now.

Cheers,

Flavia
