I think this is a really good shot. I like the diagonal line of the cows walking through the frame, and the black and white treatment suits the subject. It would have been better if there was a bit more space in front of the leading cow, at the moment it looks like she is about to walk into a big black wall (the frame). Talking about the frame, I think its a bit too big and it doesn't really add anything. It would have benn better without it.
Don't get me wrong, I think this is a really good shot, I like it.

excelent turn to greenish sepia tones and well framed with this diagonal perspective, the contrast and sharpening very well done, for me the dark frame fits rather well here to make the shot stand out.

Great diagonal composition very well dynamized by the choice of the squared crop. I like the sepia treatment which makes it a bit nostalgic.
The frame is maybe a little too thick but it's just a detail...

J'aime cette photo. L'aspect sepia est excellent ici. Il donne une touche supplémentaire de dramatisme. La composition est très bonne et le cadrage églalement. Très bonne image ou les couleurs des vaches sont alternativement noires puis blanches.

Hi Srinivasan. This is a simple but very pleasant impression of this "caravan", with a good compositional diagonal. The sepia toning looks nice and accentuates the special mood with the light and shadows. I also like the alternating dark and bright colors of the cows, very nice catch.

agree Ben, the leading cows looks blocked by your frame ... what a pity because a nice diagonal, and a good convert ...
You could correct this by using a white frame, imo.

Hi Ishan. Although I agree with Ben's suggestions about the lack of space on the right and the heaviness of the frame it is not always possible to catch the image just as we'd like and this remains a very good picture both in a documentary and an artistic sense.

Hi RS,

A nice composition with a very strong diagonal. The cows alternate in color, dark, light, dark, light, dark. Except for the one on the side of the road, which is a middle tone. Good use of monochrome and backlighting.
