Hello Srini,
Your idea of hiding the sun behind some object and taking the photo is lovely, I think you have used the same kind of technique in your photo named "Clips". I have tried this method also, and it comes out really well. This one is a lovely compo, with a mobile phone camera. Sometimes I wonder how you can capture this lovely photos with the mobile phone camera!

The blue back ground is also very attracting to me. Nice capture. The black and blue colours in conjunction gave the picture a water colour look.

very fine these palms in counterlight hiding the misty sun, funny to see this electricity post at the horizont in the middle as contrast to the trees.

Hi Srini,

I think you have to be the first mobile phone photographer I have met on TE, hello and well done!
Your effort at capturing this silhouette of the trees has paid off. A lovely simple composition which works surprisingly well for a mobile phone.

I like this sihouette shot, but I do think it could have been improved by one or two simple adjustments. A lower viewpoint would have enabled you to silhouette the trees against the sky without the distraction of the surrounding bushes and smaller trees. You would also have been able to exclude the electricity pylon in the distance, which is a little distracting.
However I do think its a very good shot; great colours and technique.

great idea and lovely outcome.
the silloutes are sharp enough to catch your eye and dark enough to merge with the terrain in the foreground. I like the idea of putting the tower in the far middle of the pic... kind of leading your eye to it !

I love this blue madly also! It gives the shot a soft and almost dreamy effect. I like the way the sun is well hidden behind the trees to give this effect of a soft halo. The electric tower in the background provides a subtle sign of modernity and context. Nicely framed. Good shot, coming from your mobile phone camera!
