Bally rail station at night
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
Bally is a railway station , 12 km from Kolkata (Calcutta). This station is crossing point of Three main rail route of West Bengal -i.e Horah main,Howrah chord and Sealdah Chord . The devotees of Ramkrishna Mission can visit the "Belur Moth" very near to this place and also Temple of Goddess Kali at Dakhineswar by crossing river Ganges on Bally bridge. I noticed that the station at night has a differnt look of itself, what i have tried to capture in this photo.

Hi Indrajit,
Nice to someone posting snaps related to Indian Railways. Indeed,Bally is an important station in IR.I can very well feel from where you have taken the shot. But speaking technically, it is not your best effort. It looks blurry and hardly there is any clarity - one can see camera shake as well.Taking night shots can be a difficult proposition, but I think you can do much better than this.Nice attempt though and just a point : What is Sealdah "Chord" ?
well this is indeed a good image though not the best
try some more thought & experimentation before any shoot

You've got the scene right but have hurried a bit with the shot and hence the haze....maybe I am wrong. But the overall imapct and the sense of the composition is perfect. I am sure to see more classic from you!
