HELLO EVERYONE !!

I am back with my shots after a long period of time. This time i have stick into my own city kolkata for photography .
October or the time of DURGA PUJA in kolkata , people from all around the globe come here to see this festival.. It consists of 4 main days PANCHAMI , ASTAMI , NAVAMI AND DASHAMI and people are seen out in the streets and pandals all through out the day even at around 2 am the streets are heavily crowded .
KUMORTULI is the renowned place for photography here just before this festival where the idols of GODDESS DURGA is created..
Well , in this photograph has no relation with Durga or any of the goddess.. Just its pattern and beautiful background compelled me to shoot this ...

I like the painting like multihued and deeply textured ambience that you have captured. The colours and the framing are perfect Sayan. Nice

Nice picture taken in not easy conditions of light.
Almost perfect exposure, with a bit of lost details in high lights.
Anyway well done.

Hello Sayan,
Le signe de la main droite de la déesse Durga semble être une mise en garde ou un geste de bénédiction ?
En tout cas, c’est un sujet très intéressant et très bonne note également,

hi Sayan

Very interesting festival aspect of Kolkata and really surprising if gods are not the highlights of it in India's religious events.

I think this lacks focus and sharpness. Although it is great to see the green wall backdrop, I would prefer to see just the pattern in good sharpness, contrast and light control, then perhaps post this as WS. What you think? Just my opinion.
