This is my first try on an explicit night mode..!!

This was on one of these festivities day when the city was totally on the streets for almost 5 days 24 hrs.I was coming back from a friends get together and was crossing this over bridge ,connecting Salt Lake and lake Town, at around 0230 hrs in the morning.

This was the traffic at that time which on a normal day, one can se at around 1900 hrs in the evening. this road is called the VIP road and connects the Airport to the city of Kolkata...

thats wat festivals does to the city and the roads..!!!

Hello Indranil,

Nice composotion with clever use of the available light. The two streetlights loook a bit like eyes and the traffic serves well too.

That's something different then your usual work. It came out very beautifully specially those two streaks of light. The shot has been further enhanced by those street light. Very good composition.

Hi Indroda,
Its hard to imagine that this is VIP road. But during the Pujas, a traffic like this is quite obvius, isnt it?
Great photo, I like the streaks of the car lights here.
