This is another view of the Sirikhola Trekkers hut from a lower point of view..!!

This small bridge comes while reaching sirikhola from Gurdum while coming down from Sandakphu and there is another bridge to get out of Sirikhola so Sirikhola is a place in between a stream of water and a river..This bridge in on the stream which is meeting the siri river further down.

The rock which can be seen on the left side has a nostalgic feeling about itself with the trekkers as everybody has done a campfire under this overhang rock at one point or the other.

Sirikhola is 12 Kms from Sandakphu while coming down and is 6 Kms trek from Rimbick the other way. One can travel by car also for 4 kms before trekking the last stretch through a beautiful Jungle full of cardamom plants before reaching Sirikhola. This Trekkers hut is run by the Glenary's gateway and has all the charm of an alpine resting place where one can unwind, relax or just feel the calm beauty of raw nature.

Hello Indranil

What really attracts me the most here is the way you have managed to capture the nostalgia that every trekker would feel when seeing a place like this.
You have managed a great POV that really pulls the view straight to the goal, you get in there and then you get the impression.
Photo quality is excellent, rich colours, not too much light and plenty of DOV to state out where teh actual target is.
Thank you for sharing.

Odd Jarle

After Odd's comment can I say something more?Maybe I will visit this place sometimes, and you 'll be my guide, dear Indranil
Have a nice weekend

Hey Indranil, what a great capture! A very tranquil environment. What I liked the most here, is that you have avoided the presence of any person in this picture, yet displayed the presence through the light wave of smoke coming out of the house. What attracts the attention, is also the architecture of this house, which is rare to find in the typical hill-houses in the middle of mountains. Very well done!

Regards
Kedar

Hi Indro,
Thanks for this shot. You are really promoting these offbeat resting places- I don't know how many will parise your this effort, but Im always to praise these nature-resorts.Perfect snap.I have seen your earlier post with other view from this hut and now I can combine it with this front view.It seems to be a lovely place. Thanks again for sharing this shot.
Greetings,
Dhurjati

Hi Indra,
Anoother nice presentation of the Sirikhola Trekkers Hut. This is perhaps better than the rest because of the uniquely low POV and with the bridge rails leading us on.
Best Wishes
Sabyasachi

Hi Indranil,
Very beautiful photo with perfect POV and DOF!
Colours are so bright and the sharpness is perfect!
Lovely photo!

Hi Indra

This beautiful photo of Sirikhola raised memories of my own trek to Sandak. Very serene picture-postcard like pic.

Hi Indranil ,
It reminds me the nice memories of the Shrikhola. I have gone at least thrice but still I feel attraction to her.
Nice composition and colour tone as well.

Hi Indranil,
excellent handeling the focus on the main target, front and back slightly OOF, the hut is perfect of contrast and coloring, well composed on the side with the converging perspective of the bridge leading to it, a good feeling of the fresh mountain air while I'm melting here in the South away :)).
greetings
Henk
