I took this snap in Gangasagar Fair,West Bengal which is very famous religious fair in India.

Ganga Sagar is almost the south end of West Bengal. Where the river Ganga meets Bay of Bengal, various Islands are created . One such Island, which is the largest and sacred most is called Sagar Dweep or popularly known as Ganaga Sagar.Ganga Sagar is 115 Km. from Kolkata..

The use of Black & White creates a timeless image.The tight frame pulls the viewer into the shot.

Well done here Prasun...the diagonal works well. Conversion to B&W is also well done with the tonalites well brought out. I do not like the watch in his hand...kind of out of place (of course he's entitled to wear one, but one does not associate a watch with a sadhu...what use is time to him?). So I might suggest a closer crop...and also wait for the smoke to come up. Keep shooting!

Absolutely superb black and white portrait. The eyes are brilliant and sharp. The compostion is superb. I have to say though that the watch needs a bit of darkening down it can be quite distracting.

This is an all star portrait in my opinion.
