Another one I am posting from Kumortuli

I am dedicating this shot to my good friend and fellow trekearther Angshuman Chatterjee - Angshu. One thing I have alwys enjoyed very much in his shots are the unique POVs he has to offer be it whatever kind of pics he is taking.

So, I also tried to take diff POV of goddess Durga in Kumortuli, the idol was complete in structure and had been painted half.We can see the five hands of her out of the 10 hands which are to carry diff weapons gifted by diff gods to defeat the demon(Mahishashur).

Its a very ambitious attempt on my part to take this POV and I really hope U all like it..!!

This is for you Angshu..!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy..!!

I: this one goes on the wall - in a frame - and you know it. It would be gratifying to see what a fine inkjet could do with this canvas - highest praise. c

Dear Indranil, I am amazed on this composition, the sophisticated light management. Many thanks for sharing, Jalab

Yes, this is a very interesting POV indeed! Ambitious, but successful. Two minor afterthoughts: a pity the 'bottom' of the statue does not have the same colour as the rest, and the coloured bit sticking into the frame on the right might have been better taken out.

Still, an excellent shot. I like it a lot.

Benny

This angle is the best
And it gives the best artistic framing, for sure
The curves, the details, the light are wonderful
Take care,dear Indro
