Photographer’s Note
I took this photo of a monk at the Dalai Lama's birthday celebrations in 2002. This image is from a scanned photo.

Hi Simon,
It is a quite unusual sight, this "trekking" monk with his camera. Great street shot (daily life continues in the background) and a very nice composition. Shot at just the right moment. Photo quality is fine too. TFS

Not only do you take good pictures, you have a good scanner too.
Is there a discussion list on scanners?
Very nice slice-of-life shot with good, strong colors. Well done!

Hi Simon,
An interesting shot, some Buddhist monks like to take photos. The Buddhists don't like a destruction of life, it is not so liked to cut the neck also on the photo. But it's successful overall.
Have a nice day, Hisashi
