Photographer’s Note
At a small temple in McLeod Ganj I came across a number of Tibetan women making offerings with butter lamps. Butter lamps are burned with ghee butter and the light from the flame is said to dispel ignorance and give rise to clarity and wisdom. Butter lamps can be found in Tibetan homes and temples and are usually made with copper, brass, white metal and sometimes silver.

Hi Michele,
nice photo with a good composition. It seems like both a portrait and a little image of the temple and of what goes on in it.
Not bad for a scan. But I know that noise appears after scanning. So I made a workshop photo...
best regards,
Elena
