India's pink city is the capital of Rajasthan- Jaipur. However this is the pink city of Haridwar which is the pious city on the bank of the Ganges.

At Haridwar the Ganges is channelised into a canal. This part of the old town lies on the banks of the canal while the river flows seperately from Haridwar.Interestingly all the activity is centered around the canal while the river flows quietly by.

Hello Udisha,
A good point of view and perspective along the canal. I like the framing from the foreground vegetation, which makes a good contrast with the pink coloured buildings on the opposite bank. The people walking along the ghats bring a good sense of vitality.
