Our 3rd camp site on the route and the second camp on snow. We climbed the Parvati Gully the next day from here. It was a beautiful camp site right next to a ridge that protected us from the cold breeze. The problem was water as there was a small spring 300m away from the camp. To the right of the frame is the infamous Panpatia ice fall. It was crossed by Martin Moran in the early 2000. No one has ever crossed it again. The great Eric Shipton also failed to cross it in 1935/36.

hi Rajib

This is a fine capture of the high altitude view of the mountains in show cap, well composed in good light control and with sharpness and nice DOF.

tfs, bill

Hi,
Great to see you back here in TE!!!Hope your trip was a successful one!!This is an awesome shot!!Lovely tones of blue and the surrounding massifs look stunning!!!
Incredible view really. BTW is this the same route which links the temples of Kedarnath and Badrinath directly?
Regards,
Sagarneel.

Hi Rajib,
Waw, it's vast and big !! The presence does matter.Wonderful capture. The shades in the F/G and the snow capped peaks at the B/G has created a nice mood overall. Can feel the high altitude - very nicely seen.
Greetings,
Dhurjati
