Hi Jorge,
I like this portrait very much! Just something about the look of the girl makes you smile...
Plus good framing and depth of course...
Thanks for sharing!
Bartosz

Hello Jorge,

This is lovely portrait of the pretty young woman. I like the off-center placement of the subject, the light management, colors and resolution. If a constructive suggestion is to be made, I would suggest cropping the original image so that her right eye (seen here on the left) is located right on the vertical centerline of the frame. It was discovered in 1998 by Christopher Tyler, a Briitish born pschologist living in San Francisco, that over the centuries the greatest single-person portraits — from Leonardo's Mona Lisa to Rembrandt's numerous self-portraits, from Picasso's Dora Maar to Van Gogh's self-portraits — have one eye on the centerline. (I wrote about this in my book "Math and the Mona Lisa.") Rules are of course made to be broken, but this one technique never taught in art schools, appears over and over and is most likely intuitive.

Warm regards and thank you for letting us see this lovely young woman, who clearly has an enthusiastic and optimistic outlook, despite the dwellings which she inhabits.

Hola Jorge!
The face has a strong personality, - a really beautiful picture!! Many greetings Wolfgang

well off-centered framing, even not following the "eye rule" noticed by Bulent
for a "quite posed" portrait, well I guess it's not totaly a snap, the glance and the expression are fabulous,
it's great even if some over-exposition is visible, as the eye contact is excellent
regards
jo
