This is a small village near Karim Nagar, Andhra Pradesh, India. Hindu households generally decorate the entrance floor with variety of sandpainting using rice powder. They are called Rangoli or kolam. I found the outer wall of this small house tastefully decorated. Notice the small rangoli in white on the extreme right. You cannot miss the political party symbols ( elephant). With such graffitis and posters, walking in the streets of a remote village can never be boring.

Hi, I like the idea behind this shot. A couple of observations though; in order to make the interesting wall more prominant in the image getting closer to it might have been good, that way loosing some of the not so interesting road. Also the sky colour looks a bit unnatural towards the top right hand corner. Nice idea though, showing us daily life in this small village. cheers, Steve
