Chennai Coastline

Every time I pay a visit to the city I grew up, I make a point I go to the shoreline in Chennai. Its a gorgeous long streach of beach that is extensively used as a summer getaway. During weekends, this place will be crowded. So we choose to go on a weekday. While the city is busy getting home behind me, I set out to capture the moment with few people enjoying the nature. The fresh air I breath here took me 15 years back and made me refresh my memories with the golder period.
I'm glad things did not change as much as my relatives tell me. I still see the beach filled with fishing boat painted with the latest state political leaders. I guess only in India, these leaders are very close to being worshipped.
I heard from locals that the city management takes maximum pain to keep the beach clean. Yet, I think its the consumption by the explosion of population that leads to this dirtiness. I felt little sad that this gorgeous beach line is trashed by the visitors and I can't blame the authorities.
Taken using Nikon coolpix Digital camera. Adjusted Shadow, add some light, Increased color temperature, Added border, resized to fit in TE and finally sharpened.
Don't know the shutter speed.
Cheers
