A strange man, a photo from Goa, Ouest

Photographer's Note

A strange man prowling the streets of Chapora, living on alms but his eyes are friendly, the place where he is drinking his chai (tea blend and milk) is the sacred tree, a old Ficus where the locals around there have built the temple, you can sit down but definitely not to put your shoes.

Very god view that is not only well composed and technically well done with the men sharp in focus against a fuzzy background, but also informative and an entry into Indian daily life.

indeed,quite a strange man with extraordinary red hat,which becomes to me a "main attraction" of this portrait.Looks really funny.And one other thing I mention in all your pictures from India,namely these brilliant,vivid colors,which make they appear almost "fairytale" to me.Fantastic portrait.

India is full of strange characters that blend well with society and may only look srange in the eyes of an outsider. This is a remarkably photogenique strange man with his bright red clothes, especially thet woolen cap in the indian heat. And yes, he has friendly eyes.

May be he is craving for attention and the only way he gets noticed is to wear this funny hat and bright clothes. He looks like he is really ejoying the desi masala chai. I like the way he is looking with that subtle smile. A nice portrait with good quality and bright colors.

che tenerezza questo vecchietto che beve il suo te, contento della attenzione che gli hai dedicato fotografandolo.
Ottima scelta di sfuocare lo sfondo evidenziando solo il vecchio e il fusto del ficus con una messa fuoco perfetta e nitida.
