Moon setting over Jaisamand lake in alwar district in Rajasthan. I had gone there to do astrophotography. Usually moonlit nights are not welcome by us, but the view of setting moon on the horizon with hills in foreground tempted me to click. The structure in forground is called "chhatri" in rajasthan. A person standing there also can be seen.
A bright blue spot near structure is star "fomulhaut" Fomalhaut is the brightest star in the constellation Piscis Austrinus and one of the brightest stars in the nighttime sky. Its name means "mouth of the whale", from the Arabic. |
