Photographer's Note

Sun Worship at Sam Dunes captured in Thar desert, about 60km west of Jaisalmer on a cool late afternoon. It's probably part of their religious tradition but was not sure, however what's more important was that they've provided me with perfect conditions for quick snaps before the fire ball dips to rest below the horizon.

Witnessing the dramatic gradual changes in lighting, cloud formations and colours from minute to minute was truly amazing. This is the most attractive part of nature photography and what wonder nature creates in the sky is visible in the sun-setting hours and open our eyes to the most beautiful and blissful moments of the last hours of the day......
