Photographer's Note

MadMaheswar is one of five famous and very old Hindu Temples (collectively called Panch-Kedar) situated at the height of 10400 ft (3289 mt) in Garhwal Himalaya, Uttranchal, India. This holy place is in the slope of lush green pasture of Himalaya and surrounded by Chaukhamba, Kedarnath and Neelkanth peaks. Green slope of grass, historic temple made of rock, varieties of flowers, beautiful mountains keep you spellbounded. Definitely I want to go back again and again.
Rout - Haridwar to Kalimath via Guptkashi by jeep. Then trek for 2 days via Gandar Village, Bantoli, and Panchavati.
