Photographer's Note

The driver brought us to the top of Hemakuta Hill. The guide and I would walk down, and he would drive back to the village and park. So this marks the start of our day at Hampi, with great weather and magnificent views. As with every endeavour, it should start with Lord Ganesh - remover of all obstacles. The statue is 2.4 metres in height and has been nicknamed "Sasivekalu" (mustard seed).
