Mysore Palace at night

I say goodbye to Mysore with three last pictures of the Mysore Palace, the former seat of the Wodeyar maharajas and one of the grandest of India’s royal buildings.
The photos were taken without tripod.

This palace has functioned several times as background on my previous photos of the flower and plant festival. Possibly, you may be tired of seeing it …

It was not only the architectural beauty of the palace that impressed me but also the whole atmosphere around with the many Indian visitors.

In Mysore I took the train (2 hours) to Bangalore (today Bengaluru) where I stayed one night but did not really have time to visit the city. From there a morning flight brought me back to Mumbai.
Bangalore had an incredible busy traffic. The city seemed even more modern than Mumbai but lacked its attraction. Just my personal idea.
