Photographer's Note

This is the time of the year when we are expected to post photos conveying Christmas greetings to each and everyone. Sadly I couldn't find any suitable photos in my archive, but this little girl sweeping the entrance to a temple reminds me that it's high time I start thinking about a thorough cleaning of my apartment before Christmas. Have you done your Christmas cleaning yet?

Here is a larger version.

This is from Kanchipuram, a small temple town in Tamil Nadu state in southern India. It's from a journey to Tamil Nadu and the Andaman Islands in the winter of 2001. It's not a very old photo, but I still needed my time machine to get there.

Another photo from Kanchipuram with an equally dubious Christmas message can be seen in the workshop.

Both photos were as usual scanned from Kodachrome slides.

And before I forget it: A Merry Christmas to everyone. (I will save my New Year's greeting to another day.)
