I don't like just to say "wow wonderful colour tones", but that blue is really appealing. Particulary combined with that soft orange. I love the PoV and angle choice of lens. Though, I think that a less shallow DoF would have worked as well, I would anyway decrease the brightness of his watch, which is a bit disturbing IMO.

Dag Henk,
Ik zie juist de beweging van de arm, waardoor de scherpte wegviel, maar de rest is groots te noemen, weinig foto's met arbeidende mensen zijn te zien op TE, maar dit is eentjes met klasse, schilderen in de blauwe kleur. Dit was toch geen opdracht van onze premier GVH!!!

i love this blue too, there should be such paint colors in France. India is so colourful. I like the concentrated look on the man's face and his hand out of focus.

Hi Henk, A very well portrait of a “man in work” scene. You have an excellent DOF here to get the man clearly captured while he was concentrating with his work. The blue background helps a lot as background contrasting the outline of the man nicely. An excellent photo.
It is interesting to see the way the man works. Here in the U.S. most of the time, you see a painting worker uses a roller to paint. He may use the brash at a few very limited roller corners, where rollers can not reach. For the surface this work is working on, the roller is not an option.

Nice play with colors, Henk. The blue in the background really makes your subject stand out. I like how he's so deep into his task that he didn't even notice you. My only concern with this shot is that I wish that his hand would have been sharp (perhaps shooting at f/5.6 would have done the trick...plus going for a higher ISO value if shutter speed proved to be a little too slow for hand holding). Anyway, the blue really makes the image pop. Well done.

C'est sur qu'il doit se fournir chez Lakshmi, et que ce dernier peut lui faire un prix, compte tenu du fait qu'il utilise une seule couleur et qu'il ne lésine pas sur la quantité à l'application.
Ce bleu est magnifique, et la photo excellente en cadrage pour ce portrait d'homme concentré au travail.
