[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
the content of this photo had nothing to do with James Blunt's "No Bravery" (great great song)..and I know it is not good to write irrelevant notes or give such names..she is just a running kid..

but when I look at it, I remember things..I feel sad about an almost forgotten Beslan, a hardly remembered Bhopal, wars, earthequakes, kindergarden attacks..
My biggest fear is to see children in fear, pain..

ok, ok..I am a little down maybe :)..so what..aren't we all sometimes ?

Good morning from Tokyo, Fusun!
I'm very proud to be the first to congratulate you on this very nicely timed shot. The look on that child's face is so "alive" and "forward looking", it captivates.
And what a contrast with the cold historical stones behind...
Your note is deep and resonant and I'm sure many share your thoughts.
Have a great weekend now,
Love,
Francis

Dear the caption should be 'bravery' instead of 'no bravery' as photo depicts although the past (the historical building in the background with broken steps and creates dark phobic atmosphere) was dark but still kid is leaping toward the bright future with determination

Hi Fusun! Not feeling on top today, i see! and you have every right to be my friend:-) This photo is quite dynamic as this kid is running in your direction (almost). the light is well mastered IMO and it is quite a pleasant shot!
I hope nothing serious and that you'll cheer up soon again;-)
cheers

Eric

Dear Fusun, hello, your shot is touching me deep down, so is your note. This is a lovely shot of this tender, vulnerable, beautiful tiny human being and a great marvellous temple behind... both fragile in their own ways, both beautiful... the pp is superb, and your capturing this TINY child in front of the HUGE space of the temple is giving extra poignancy to your shot...
sending you a big hug from OTtawa!

Sometimes the pain is unbearably deep even for generally happy people - the world is so nonsensical at times in the most horrific ways - laughing in the face of and through these scars on humanity, yet still with a deep compassion, is a bravery of the highest order. Your picture of such an innocent running open eyed into the world with the juggernaut of the past behind is both an image of strength and fragility - beautifully timed - beautifully toned - I think we can all share that fear with you.

warm hugs from the UK

best wishes Kev

Siyah beyaz çok iyi olmuş. Fotoğrafın keskinliği, netlik mükemmel. Tebrikler.
