Hi Partha,
Excellent capture of the daily life scene, which is so typical of this area.Lovely choice of B/W as composition, fits perfectly with the mood of the snap. The clarity and the sharpness here is top class.I can easily remember my college days while returning home at night every day I used to get stuck in traffic jam here.....:)
Greetings,
Dhurjati

Hi Patha!
what a terrible shot. You make us touch how hard can be a work. BW is used properly to underline the subject.
I am shocked by this picture.
Very good work

Livia

Durdanta chobi Partha Da, surely one of your best. Exhibition material.
Poulomi

Terrific one once again Partha, your BW is really nice and good way to PP it ... But of course this is efficient only if the compo is nice and this is the case here, strong one with a perfect title ;)
... i wonder why you werent already in my favs ;)

Hello Partha! Excellent title you chose, on the other hand it does not need a lot of words. It is sad to see this. Impressive work of yours. Take care, Barbara.

Partha.

Interesting documented shot from the streets.
GOOD COMPOSITION, BALANCED WELL. THE CHOICE OF B/W IS PERFECT.
I like contrast between street jam and the expressive portrayal of the Indian working class.
Best regards.

Hello Partha,
Life is not always a bed of roses, that is indeed true... Many people have to work very hard. Physically hard. As we can see in your photo. I am very impressed by their bare feet... I just can't imagine that in my part of the world...
Although I did not see the color version, I like the B&W here. A good contrast, white being white and black... black! I just wonder a little about the composition. I think it would have been a little better if you could have taken the photo a bit more on the left. This way, we could have seen the face of the second person just behind the first man on the left, and also a little more of their load. But, maybe that was not possible.
There seems to have slight halos, more visible where two contrasty parts meet (look at the legs and the left tire). I'm not an expect, so I don't really know why it is like that. Might be the sharpening?
Well, this was just a nitpick because I think the photo is good.

Beautiful, hard life...
Long, hard way...
Very good one, Partha.
Best regards. Grazyna.

Great photo, nice composition and good using B/w for this one.

Very impressive shot, we can feel the efforts, we are plunged right in the middle of it. Excellent contrasts. Very well done.

Fantastic shot of these men at work! The close in view is good, showing us the effort on the faces, while we are still far enough back to be able to see the tremendous load they are pulling. Black & white works well for this too, with an incredible gritty reality to it. Excellent work!

HI Partha,
wonderful B&W ..nice composed shot..bit low angle might be better, then you avoid the top bar just over the bags...
manash

Hi Partha,

Amazing shot! Show's lifes unpretentious side. People tapping their capacity to survive life. Very poetic the expression on their faces and their almost choreographed steps. Black and white works perfectly well with the mood. Great composition and well titled too.

Great work,
Claire

Hi Partha,

Nope, it surely isn't for quite a big group of people in this world. It is good to face shots like these and know again how fortunate we are.

Have a good weekend,
Dennis
