Photographer's Note

A big "thanks" to all those who commented on my previous snap. These pictures have been shot through a very low quality film-camera and scanned at 300 dpi resolution (This pic is 360 dpi). I have corrected some of the the blemishes caused due to an unclean scanning plate, but not all. This picture, looks out of the PWD guest house and into the distant Himalayas through a very well maintained garden. Wild flowers are plentiful and even cultured flowers have grown out of their beds and blossom on the hill-sides. One can easily pick up some great variety of flowering plants from the road-sides here (Mukteshwar). Last but not the least, travellers from Delhi would recognise several varieties of flowers growing in the wild which would costs a bomb in the city shops! Ask the gardener about the flower species. He knows quite a bit about them.
