[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
I am posting after a long time(long , at least in my terms). Great to be back here in TE looking into the beautiful shots of our beautiful planet.
The last week had been testing. My father was hospitalised for a surgery and was operated. Things are fine now and he has been realesed(well I dont know wheteher I am violating the TOS by writing personal incidents in my notes). However, I mention this first of all to thank each and every one who had expressed their good wishes for my father and my family. The support had been truely great.Thank you all.
There is another thing that my father's illness taught me- that is being prepared for tough times even when things are going on smoothly. Being prepared for combating all the odds that can paralise an individual mentally.

You never know whats in store during the journey of life. It can be pleasant now, but the moment to come may be stormy.

Hi Sagarneel, A wonderful use of light & creation of these superb silhouettes, the golden glow is very beautiful through-out &, there is a brilliant sheen across the water, very well composed excellent use of foreground fauna &, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Sagar,

Great to see you back on TE. Glad to know all is fine.

Nice tone and the branch in the foreground is a good frame. I would liked a subject in the foreground but these things are beyond our control.

Rajib

Hi Sagarneel,
Great to see you back, we all missed you here at TE. I am glad everything went smoothly. Hope that he will recover soon. This is a lovely shot. Like the branches framing the shot. Why did you take it in a vertical frame? seems a little tight cropping.
Regards,
Shaeri
PS: thanks for the wonderful critique..:)

Hello Sagarneel!

I'm so sorry. I didn't know about your father and I'm very glad to find out that he is doing better. The image you posted speaks of positive nature of yours, a way to look in the future with bright eyes and strong will. Yes, life has many surprises for us, not all good. It is on us to decide how we will deal with them. I'm glad to see you back here, hopefully now more often as a sign things are really going for better. Capture is marvelous of most adorable light with a boat in a distance, calm and peacefull as the day slowly is turning into the night. Beautiful!

Kind regards and best wishes!
Jeri

Hello Sagarneel,
good to hear that! and yes, one has somehow to be prepared for everything at all moments, although when it happens it is still difficult...
I like very much the light here and the tonality, so warm and inviting. Nice detail of the boat making it all look very exotic. Nice to frame the verticality with the vegetation.

TFS, Best-
Michèle

Hi Sagarneel,

Happy to see your return on TE and I wish a good re-establishment with your dad. A beautiful photograph with the colors gold. Framing vegetable is interesting with this back-light. Well seen Sagarneel.

Daer Sagarneel,
beautiful light and silhouette of the tender sea.
the sea shows us both calm and rage faces, I think these two are really one.
it is unstable and wavered mind when we face the change of nature. the nature is always one.
still, we naturally wish tender phase of it, though our destiny maybe unknown.
glad to return of you and your father.
Akihisa

Dear Sagarneel
Glad to know that your father is recovering..hope he's much better now. A good post & the conversion to sepia is also quite apt. Framing with the silhouetted branches work well. I see some colourations/noise (?) in the sky, don't know what created it!

Very nice reflections off the rippled water and the effect is real. Good sunset shot.

Hi Sagarneel,
Not an easy photo, with the sun and its glow on the water in front of the camera. But you achieved taming the light remarkably well, only the noise is a bit annoying. The simple compo is beautiful and very effective. I appreciate the sharpness of the FG despite the use of the long focal that has the effect of compressing the perspective which results very well here.
Regards, José.

Sagar,
an image that goes along quite well with your note. I see that I'm quite behind with my critique since you posted this image and I hope that since than things just got better for you and your family.
Your composition is great with the horizon in a 1/3 - 2/3 division, the branch as a framing element on the top and finally the boat very on the edge to the left. Very good!
Peter

Hello sagarneel. Everything in this photo works as gilded. It is a picture for eye and soul. Very beautifully. Best regards, Wolfgang.
