Street Grapes
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
I spotted these grapes on a Jaipur street and was intrigued by the way the backlighting lit up some of the fruit.
Technical: Cropping, and some Shadow/Highlights, also Levels and Curves. Modest amount of High Pass sharpening. Some of the grapes were blown out, so I tried a new (for me) technique of Color Burn, selecting proximate colors every few brush strokes. Tedious, but it worked. (Suggestions for other techniques welcome.) I also selected the background and blurred it with Gaussian blur to soften some of the edges (and it beyond the DOF already anyway). |

Hi Daniel,
Very well seen and captured, those grapes. The light is beautiful and creates a great effect. Very good composition too. Thanks for sharing!
Regards,
Lars
Back-lighting has a wonderful effect but it is not always easy to capture. Your PP to eliminate evidence of over-exposure has worked well. Appealing image.

Hi Daniel
Your PP worked well here. The grapes are sharp and clear. They do look good in back lighting.
