Leh, Leh-Ladakh - altitude 3500 m

The sky in Ladakh has incredible clear blue, where is sometimes called "Little Tibet", located in the north of India.

I met the children going to school at the splendid place on my return from training of acclimatization to high altitude, and then shot them only two pieces in the background of the tall trees glittering in the morning sun at 9:53 am. Only seven another minutes up to start of school, hurry up!

Hello,

I like a lot the effect of the wide angle from bottom to top on this photo. It makes the trees even higher.
The exposure was well managed with the white of the walls just at the limit to increase the overall contrast and so increase the impact of the saturation of the colors for the suits of the children providing an anchor point but also for the green of the trees on the deep blue sky of Leh.

your series on Ladack is so beautiful,I could give a green smiley on each!I am sure now that I want to do the same trek than you!It as in my mind for a few weeks,I hope it will be possible next year!I don't understand why this one has just only10 points,!This is so wel framed,withthe green trees standingout the amazing blue sky,and the contrast with the white walls is so beuatiful!And these children add a so typical animation!Yes,this is a great picture!Very very nice!
