The Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque), built in 1658, is the largest mosque in India and one of the largest in the world. Except at prayer times, visitors are allowed to wander freely around the complex (shoes are left outside, of course!). This view is of the outer courtyard, with the Red Fort of Delhi in the distance, taken shortly after the mid-afternoon prayer, with worshipers still wandering around.

I have been there too in January!
a real interesting place full of inspiration.
maybe it lacks of sharpness...but the composition is pleasant with the brown tones contrasted by the colourful sarees!
