[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
trees fill up the villages in India. nothing different with assam! once upon a time the timber industry flourished like anything. mass felling of trees were thrived upon. in due course, the government banned the felling of trees and the timber industry came to a closure!
but, its really sad when we come across such sights even today. people cut down trees for home consumption, without sparing a thought about the consequences. lets hope and take action to prevent this, for a better future...
regards

Hi Samrat,

there is a sad story behind this very nice scene. It's sad humans still need wood...it's time to invent something else...backing to the compo, you chose agood angle and you managed the light very well. Beautiful shot of a sad context. Well done!
Regards,
Carlos

yes we had to stop this desolation and the excessiv wood exploitation...
Europeans had to buy local wood ! and in India you have also to bee carreful because wood is for you home energy and commercial product

Samrat,
This is a sad image, we are living in a world of controdiction. in one have people want to better their lives and use up all the natural resources that harm the environment. I guess as long as we keep it in a balance we may be doing a little better. Recycle, repair, replant, whatever we can do to help. Education is the path to reach people, and this is one way to show them what's going one. Thanks for the image and the spread the awareness.

I also agree about the sad story, I like the photo also. Focus on the cut tree and in the background wonderful coloring by the shade and sun mix. Very nice colors...

Best regards and bright future!
Slavko
