I find the portion of umbrella in the left corner attractive, giving more emphasis on the concept.

Bonjour Cath, encore une très belle scène de vie, que la vie doit être difficile pendant la mousson???nous pouvons sentir l'atmosphère, dommage en effet pour le parapluie à gauche.. mais cela reste une bonne image.

Encore un bijou oriental dans ta galerie, Catherine. Formidable atmosphere pour nous qui suivons confortablement cette scene de la vie quotidienne en Inde. Le photographe a demande un peu de soleil pour se rechauffer, probablement, en ce moment. Mais, le trophee dans l'appreil recommpense tout. Mes felicitations, chere amie.

J aime beaucoup ta photo qui montre une vraie tranche de vie. De plus, l ambiance maussade de la meteo procure une ambiance tres particuliere qui apporte un plus certain a l image.
Le cadrage est bon avec un bon placement de chacun des elements cles. J ai bien l apparition d un parapluie dans le coin haut gauche.
Une photo de voyage qui sort de l ordinaire et qui montre la realite de la vie en Inde.

Hi Catherine,
Good colour contrast between saturated clothing and misty grey background. Many umbrellas and to the monsoon feeling. Wide angle and low PoV works well.

en voyant cette photo , la chanson de G.Brassens m'est de suite venu a l'esprit.
Il pleuvait fort sur la grand-route
Elle cheminait sans parapluie
J’en avais un, volé sans doute

Bonjour,
belle photo de ces gens qui vont au marché faire leurs emplettes.
Le système de transport des marchandises est assez spécial et pas évident a faire.
La photo montre bien le mauvais temp au pont qu' en regardant votre photo je sent l' humidité qui me traverse.

if only this could have been taken from the opposite side - facing the "travelers" carrying the goods... anyway - i think it perfectly conveys the mood of that rainy day...
i'll be boring - if only we could see all those "laughing, smiling, happy despite the rain " people how they are doing what you describe...

Tu nous offres une superbe photo! On sent l'ambiance agréable, malgré la pluie.
Les gens semblent marcher paisiblement, sans trop s'en soucier.
Chacun son parapluie, peu importe de quoi il est fait!
Tu as été trempée mais ce cliché prouve que tu as bien fait de sauter bas du bus !

Une très bonne prise, très atmosphérique, j'aime bien l'ambiance mais j'aurais coupé plus du haut (le truc noir en haut et à gauche n'ajoute rien et gâche un peu le tout).

This is a rare view of such a 'wet' market scene which really makes a good subject of interest to see the people still moving about with no hurry. Your capture is sharp and deliver nice colorful contrast despite the rain and fog. I like your composition although the black umbrella at top left is in the way.

This is really great Daily Life shot.

A perfect Indian image .We know how to manage thing with minimal resources.It's interesting to watch the lady balancing the huge fruit on her head also covering her head from rain.Love the view of the trees disappearing in the showers.This frame is full of life . I can feel the showers, the rush for cover, sellers packing up, great shot . Congrats and TFS!

It'e been quite a while since I ventured into your gallery. I can feel the rain & humidity in the air, the downpour resulting in the trees turning into a haze. People take whatever cover they have to protect their head (& hair) & I can see one lady is using a pumpkin as well. A normal daily life scene, if depicted well like this, makes a excellent picture.

je cherchais une photo sous la pluie pour justement t'en parler...ma fille s'en va fin du mois en Inde. Mousson ! elle craint pour son portable et son petit numérique... trop d'humidité ? que lui conseilles tu ? je n'y suis jamais allé à cette période... Je te sais en vacances mais si tu as une occasion de répondre je te remercie d'avance.
Je te souhaite une bonne continuation de vacances - pour ma part je suis avec Francine en Roumanie...
