| The sikharas, comprising the trikutachala, are identical. Their tips symbolize the point of creation, which extends into all forms as it descends to earth. Occasionally, there is a need for some of the avian residues to be expunged so as to burnish the temple's appearance, for the benefit of those who cast their eyes heavenwards. |
