[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
Sad scene indeed, this lady had spent all day on the roadside, sitting in this same place and same position as hundreds of people walked by, or passed by in (on) various vehicles.
When I approached her and offered a donation she refused to accept, obviously being mentally ill thus being castaway fom society - no one to turn to.

Great photo Nenad. Very interesting.

Hi Nenad.

The photo is interesting and has certainly much to say.Very expressive. Unfortunaly, millions of scenes like this could be taken all around the world.

Best regards,
Nuno

hello Nenad
this could have been more fine and detailed. i did not like the treatment with the shot. you have done much pp work on to this. black and white would have been more appropriate for this kind of shot and this shot needs some more details or may be a little more close up. there was a huge scope for the upper crop.

manuj mehta

couldn't disagree more with manuj.
black and white would have been different but not necessarily better.
closer up would not have been better. nor is there a "huge scope" for an upper crop. these suggestions, quite simply, show that one did not get the picture.

the lady's figure is eloquent in its posture. the finger on the ground and baladeva's simply story of her refusal moved me to tears.

This is a true story telling image. I like the colors. Perhaps the tone is set by the coloration which cast a humble mood on the scene. It is always a wish to have eyes lift and we catch a crisp face looking into the lens and then at us who view. However this image catches a natural person doing as you say her thing. Sad that she would not take money from you. I wonder what will become of her. Great daily life photo! I don't agree with Manuj and do agree with tendstoinfinity.
