| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
| The main actors in the tableau are here, front and centre. The lord Shiva is accompanied by his ganas - attendants. The latter attend him on Mt. Kailasa where he perpetually meditates, along with his wife Parvati. To his left, our right, Arjuna (Bhagiratha) stands in the tree pose (Vrksasana). His long session probably accounts for the somewhat fragile appearance. Next his left elbow, there is a pair of rather large birds. |
