Photographer's Note

One had to be lucky on a good Summer day to get his one the way I have. Apparently there's nothing in this shot but if you look closely you'll see that its completely a reflection of one of Delhi's monuments in a small pond of water located in its courtyard. Why I said that thing about lucky? Normally there's a fountain of water in the middle of this puddle which prevents any reflection from forming but if the lights were good (as they were) by the time visiting hours shut at 7.00 pm and if the guards remember to put the fountain off at exactly the same time, the waters calmed down to give a good reflection, like they did on this day to me! Generally the guards the so busy shooing off the tourists that they forget to shut the fountain down on time. Apart from the timely closure it also took a nice smile and a good request to for me to stay there longer than allowed and I got this one of the Humayun's Tomb, a signature Mughal era monument of Delhi
