Bonjour Marylin,

Un superbe paysage que cette photo met très bien en valeur. Parmi d'autres qualités de ta photo, j'apprécie tout particulièrement la composition avec cette végétation qui entoure la rivière qui en tournant nous donne bien envie d'aller voir plus loin. On découvre ensuite ce relief qui émerge de la brume. Vraiment très beau!

The humid air and the haze really adds depth to this fine composition!

oui,c'est bien une image paradisiaque que tu nous montres,mais ce paradis n'est pas perdu pour toi qui peut en profiter tous les jours!Les teintes bleutées de l'atmosphère montrent bien que la pluie est enfin terminée,au moins pour quelques jours,et elles s'harmonisent bien avec le bleu de la rivière!La végétation luxuriante est splendide,et j'aime beaucoup la montagne à travers la brume!Je me demande juste si tu n'as pas forcé un peu sur la netteté,ça manque légèrement de douceur sur les arbres du premier plan!Je me trompe peut-être cer j'ai des problèmes d'écran en ce moment!Quoiqu'il en soit,la photo est très agréable!

C'est un peu brumeux en general par contre ces palmies qui s'elevent sur la droite sont du plus bel effet pour equilibrer la montagne, d'autant plus qu'eux ressortent tres bien.

C'est marrant, je ne me souvenais pas qu'il y avait une montagne ou une colline déguisée en montagne à Goa. Je trouve cette surprise sympa et l'ambiance backwaters (même si nous ne sommes pas au Kerala) fait un bon contraste avec. Me change des mousses islandaises...

It certainly does look very green. The sky and hazy mountain reflects the fact this is monsoon time. The palms give the image a wonderful tropical feel. Well done

Hi Marilyn,
the curve of the river in that green has a high difference of clarity compared to the misty weather behind. The hill really gets lost in the air. Looks very humid.

Beautiful tropical scene with the coconut trees and the river, despite two weeks raining it looks quite clear, excellent DOF with the impressive mountain covered by mist. Very good colors and sharpness. Great composition.

Magnifique prise de vue et joli paysage tropical avec cette végétation luxuriante. Ça me rappelle un paysage que j'ai vu au Costa Rica, dans un endroit qu'on appelle "Rain forest" où il pleut à chaque jour. J'aime bien ce paysage avec la montagne estompée derrière. Les trois palmiers en diagonale sont un ajout à la beauté de la photo.

Superb jungle shot - you have even managed to express Nature's protective behaviour in these palms on the other bank, alined like guardians to defend the jungle secrets...

It reminds me of scenes from the unforgetable movie Apocalypse Now, where the search for Colonel Kurtz passed through jungles like this, on a boat... Remarkable!

La courbe de la rivière est un atout à la composition. La jungle est un cadrage naturel à la rivière. La prise de vue dirige notre regard vers la montagne de l'arrière-plan. La lumière donne un bon contraste aux couleurs. Bonne journée.

I do not doubt that the Eden was something like this. Luxurious green, a water course and a mountain: looks like the 16th century, before the Portuguese era, an unexplored land.
