Photographer's Note

Two days after 11th September, the Hand of Terror struck India. AGAIN! Within a couple of months of Jaipur, Bangalore & Ahmedabad blasts, a wave of terror ripped through Delhi, the national capital, leaving more than 30 dead & about a 100 injured.

I was returning home in my car when at around 6.35 pm, I received a call from my office building security that there has been a bomb blast just opposite to our office building. I was shaken. Calls started pouring in on my mobile from all over the country about my well being. I tried calling my colleagues to find out the state of them & their family. All the 5 bomb blasts happened in either busy market places or in the office blocks. Thankfully, 3 bombs had been subsequently diffused in very busy locations, otherwise the toll would have been higher. I returned home that day totally shaken...the news channels were all showing the gruesome details of the aftermath of the blasts.

The spate of these terror strikes has proven that life is indeed very fragile & who knows where and when it will strike next. The victims of all these attacks are ordinary, innocent citizens. Why? Because they are the easiest targets of such heinous crimes.

Please join me in offering prayers & condolences for the victims of the blasts. This hand is the symbolic Hand of Peace, the Hand of Prayer, against the Hand of Terror.
