Sirsir La, Zanskar - altitude 4800 m

Sirsir La is one of the pass in Zanskar with most beautiful landscape. The spectacle where many red needles tower is worth seeing.

My mini caravan getting over Sirsir La pass (4800m), and descends to Hanupata. The springing water in this pass is very delicious and the best.
The white dot seen ahead of the trail is Sirsir La Hotel and Restaurant.
We can also see its terrain in Google Maps.

Hello Hisashi,

Very good capture for this photo. The colors of the stones is well shown and there is a good opposition with the horses and people in foreground sharing the scale and the opening of the valley driving far the look to the background with the clouds.

Yves.

Hello Hisashi,
It's an image of contrasts....beautiful scenery with the snow capped mountains in the background, and the harsh looking brown earthy scenery in the foreground. It's great that you could include the people and animals, which provide some scale and interest in the foreground. Excellent clarity and colours throughout the photo. Well done.
Cheers Grant

Hello Hisashi,
Another lucky encounter with a caravan at the right place, or a proof of your infinite patience in waiting for the right moment? It doesn't matter with this fantastic, immense view. Really fine.

hello Hisashi

The more I see your gallery of India, the more interest that I should make a trip there to see it myself.

This is your trademark style of POV from a far distance to capture the wide view of the mountains and really a great touch to include the trail of people and horses. You are active on your adventure here from looking down this way into the valley.

tfs, bill

great lighting on the textures of the rocks, splendid landscape, with good inclusion of human & animal presence to give the scale, excellent depth and sharpness
regards
jc

Absolutely splendid, Hisashi.
I keep looking at the coral pink hues on those peaks in the distance... just unbelievable!
Outstanding light management and huge depth of field, on top of a most magnificent view. My compliments!
Have a nice sunday, my friend. I'll be seeing you.
Ciao,
Fulvio.

Hi Hisashi,
Impressive and great landscape, lovely light and good pov on mountains and valley, well in your composition men and horses.

Hello Hisashi,
A very beautiful and most impressive landscape. You captured it very well, specially with the small caravan on the trail to that tiny white dot, your hotel and restaurant.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Hisashi:

A majestic panorama, no doubt. I like the contrast of colors and shapes of mountains, as a geographical feature.

The people and animals, stimulate the scene in a balanced manner. Excellent.

John

Ola Hisashi ,
Que paisagem bem árida mas as colinas são lindas com estes tons de castanho , gostei muito do céu , boa inclusão das pessoas com os animais , parabéns!!!
Um abraço Gonçalo

Hello Hisashi!

I'm really impressed how well you manage to balance the exposure of sky and land! Beautiful landscape with a dynamic sky scenery, and the little human touch of the caravan, giving us a sense f scale!

Cheers
